It won’t be the first time we went to war based on a lie, but it may well be the last if Iran is forced to defend itself from a Western coalition attack.
Such are the lies being told about Iran – stories that have been concocted and spun by Iran’s enemies since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, and which are now embellished and intensified to enlist our support for a ‘regime change’ war – that to refer to them as ‘a lie’ is hardly sufficient. Nevertheless, it is appropriate to label the latest attack on Iran, which started on December 28th last year, as ‘a lie’ in its totality; the whole operation was a deception, from the engineering of a currency collapse to the covert shooting of protestors to frame police and security forces. In commentary published by P&I on January 15th, Moon of Alabama draws this conclusion, while predicting – wrongly – that the ‘protests’ would die down. So there should be no doubting that this was such a deception, with the rapid exposure of the infiltrators, agents and ‘terrorists’ by the government, and by Iranian citizens who witnessed their atrocities. The violent and unprovoked attacks launched in a coordinated operation in all parts of Iran on January 8th shocked the whole nation, with the targeted killing of over 100 police and security forces quickly demonstrating that the ‘protests’ were no longer ‘organic’, but the work of foreign agencies with local collaborators. This was further endorsed by the discovery of thousands of Starlink internet terminals being used by the ‘rioters’ to organise and synchronise their activities; the unexpected electronic jamming of these vital communications by Iran – possibly with Chinese assistance – successfully decapitated the whole operation, and thwarted US-Israeli plans for a subsequent military attack. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi detailed these events in an exclusive Al Jazeera Arabic interview on January 13th, just four days after the attacks, but before full details emerged of the massacres and destruction of public facilities. See also this report from Iran’s Austrian embassy. While Western governments and their media attempted to continue with ‘the uprising’, making more and more outrageous claims about ‘regime killings’ and a death toll rising to ten times the actual original figure released by the government, on the streets of Tehran and Esfahan, Shiraz and Mashad, huge demonstrations were organised in support of the government and in protest against the states sponsoring the lethal terrorist attacks on the country. Iranians quickly realised that the attacks and threats of war were just a continuation of the ’12-day war’ back in June 2025, when over 1000 civilians were killed by US and Israeli bombing simply as ‘collateral damage’ in the targeting of military officials, nuclear scientists and institutions. Iranians are also now not in any mood for ‘compromises’ or concessions to the Western aggressors, vowing a game-changing response to any military action against the country – a response that would be entirely legitimate under international law. While it may be hard to believe, the Western powers have no legitimate basis for launching a military attack on Iran, whether ostensibly to defend the people from their own government, or to damage and destroy Iran’s peaceful domestic nuclear programme. Claims that Iran ‘sponsors international terrorism’ are spurious and hypocritical, given the West’s creation and sponsorship of Islamist terrorist groups like Al Qaeda and ISIS. The classification of Hezbollah and Hamas as terrorist organisations also has no credibility with the populations who support them, and has come about in Australia largely as a result of pressure from the Zionist lobby. The hundreds of thousands of Australians who have witnessed the daily atrocities committed against Palestinians in Gaza wouldn’t hesitate to classify ‘Israel’s’ army in such terms; it’s hard to think of any military that has conducted a similar campaign of terror and slaughter of innocents in recent history. For them, and particularly for those joining weekly rallies ‘for a free Palestine’, the sight of a Star of David flag is now an incendiary provocation, representing support for an illegitimate, racist state committing an unrelenting genocide against the people of the country it occupies. Local Jewish communities and organisations have also spoken at these rallies, making it clear they oppose the Zionist ideology and corruption of Judaism in their name. Which brings us to the point of this review, noting the way that local Zionists are exploiting and collaborating with members of the Iranian diaspora to push Israel’s aggressive agenda against Iran. Unlike Iranians at home, the majority of those in the extensive diaspora have been victim to years of propaganda about their country, spread by foreign ‘human rights’ agencies sponsored by Zionist organisations like the National Endowment for Democracy. In Australia some individuals have also played a crucial role in promoting and spreading these false narratives, demonisation and hatred of Iran’s government, military and religious leaders. Their power over 'the narrative' - the same narrative of 'regime killings' that pervades the entire Western media - is shown at the start of the report below, where Iran's 'admission' that 3,115 people were killed is presented as an admission of guilt, simply by not saying who killed them.
The most well known and most persuasive of these 'influencers' or 'narrative developers' is Kylie Moore Gilbert, seen in the SBS news report above on the day of anti-Iranian rallies in Melbourne. She is repeatedly presented as an expert on Iranian affairs despite being found guilty and imprisoned in Iran on substantial evidence as an Israeli agent. She maintains close links to the local Zionist community as well as to the Iranian diaspora - effectively working as a liason between them in 'Israel's' interests. Her expertise in spinning a false story, which evidently failed in Iran, worked well in a recent interview by the ABC’s Religion and Ethics report however, with these extraordinary assertions going unchallenged by Andrew West: “first, the regime is in a much weaker and more vulnerable state than it was in 2022, second the response of the regime to the protestors, so they used live fire, they used military grade weapons against unarmed civilian peaceful protestors on the streets, where we've seen death toll estimates above 30,000 dead in a period of around 48 hours alone, which is just shocking.” (these claims are completely false, with the extreme death toll originating from one foreign source - the "Human Rights Activists News Network" HRANA, reportedly coming from 'doctors' and activists inside Iran still able to send information 'which can't be independently verified' - nor verified at all..) Moore Gilbert further identified herself as a spokeswoman for Iran’s mortal enemy with these monstrous claims about Syria’s former government and democratically elected President: (Iran) – “made the decision to go full Bashar al Assad on the internal unrest. I mean, they essentially helped Assad write the playbook that he enacted in the Syrian civil war, which was just ‘we will kill however many of our citizens we need to kill to stay in power – we don’t care what the death toll is, and we don’t care whether we destroy our own country in the course of doing that.” In reality it is the propaganda ‘playbook’ that Kylie Moore Gilbert and her colleagues have enacted against Iran and Syria that is the same, and looking a little tired; both countries had to fight foreign-backed insurgents and their local recruits to protect ‘their own people’ and to resist a foreign take-over. But the tragedy that has finally befallen Syria is not going to be replicated in Iran, however many of its citizens they have to kill. Witness the enormous and record turnout of Iranians on the 11th of February, the 47th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, estimated at over 30 million, and in all cities and provinces of the country. The shock and disgust of Iranians at the atrocities committed in January has only helped garner more support for their government and the IRGC, and renewed support for Ayatollah Khamenei – support that would never be seen for a government ‘killing its own people’. Below a short video posted by someone in Esfahan, showing the enormous 'Imam Square' filled with people for the celebration.
This is however not the story we are being told in Australia, where the Israeli Zionist hand is in everything, and shamelessly evident at recent rallies supporting the former Shah’s son Reza Pavlavi. Not only was the Israeli flag displayed at these rallies alongside the old ‘Sun and Lion’ Royalist flag of Iran and the Southern Cross, but two of Australia’s most prominent Zionists from the Federal Opposition, Julian Leeser and Tim Wilson, expressed their support for the Iranian regime-changers in speeches at the rallies, and to Parliament. Both men had already shown their respect for the genocide-inciting President Hertzog and disdain for Palestinian rights and lives, and then had the gall to berate supporters of Palestine for failing to condemn Iran for allegedly killing its own people. Julian Leeser obligingly provided a transcript of his speech to an Iranian diaspora rally the day before Hertzog’s arrival in Australia; a short extract: “Our government’s Middle East policy is a shambles. Australia has spent too much of the last four years condemning Israel rather than standing up against Iran when they were warned by Persian Australians and by the Jewish community of the danger that Iran posed to our country….When I spoke in the parliament recently about radical Islamic extremism and its role in the Bondi massacre, I spoke specifically about Iranian Australians in my community, who for years have stood up to the mullahs of Iran and against all extremism.” Below is SBS' news report of the Iranian diaspora rally in Sydney addressed by Julian Leeser, which fails to identify the man who calls for the Ayatollah Khamenei to go, or remark on the presence and number of 'Israeli' flags being proudly waved at the event. That Leeser makes a close connection between 'radical Islamic extremism' and the 'mullahs of Iran', as exemplars of this extremism confirms the objective of the Zionists in trying to pin 'ISIS' on Iran, while knowing the outlook of the two is diametrically opposite. This further endorses the case I made back in August, of what can clearly now be seen as a 'conspiracy' - given the way that the Bondi attack has played out.
‘Israel’s’ representatives and agents are selling the idea to Australians that Iran is a ‘radical Islamist terror state’ – cleverly equating it to truly fundamentalist Islamic takfiri groups like ISIS and Al Qaeda. As ‘Israeli’ President Hertzog said in an interview with the Australian shortly before his visit to Australia: “Without us, the world is at risk and danger because of the Iranian empire of evil which has a kind of a jihadist, sort of Messianic intention to annihilate all those who don’t accommodate their beliefs, meaning Jews, Christians of all denominations, and moderate Muslims,” he said. “And without Israel Europe is at risk, the United States is at risk, the free world is at risk because we are at the border of a clash of civilisational values against an empire of evil emanating from Tehran, which launched the horrific attack on October 7th.” While Pauline Hanson’s assertion that “there are no good Muslims” has drawn understandable outrage, it should be pointed out to her that the ‘bad Muslims’ who ‘want a World Caliphate’ are actually the fundamentalist Sunnis associated with the West-friendly Arab kingdoms, whose principal targets are the ‘good Shia Muslims’ in Iran, who they consider apostates of Islam. Any honest observer of the wars fought by our ‘Coalition of the Willing’ in the Middle East understands how we exploited and encouraged these ‘takfiri’ groups to further US and ‘Israeli’ hegemony over the entire region. And following Moore Gilbert’s ‘playbook’, we worked with passionate intensity to “kill however many of their citizens we need to kill to seize power – we don’t care what the death toll is, and we don’t care whether we destroy their country in the course of doing that.” As Australia prepares to join and support a criminal and unjustifiable attack on a sovereign country, the role of these various agents for the Zionist entity becomes ever clearer, and unarguable.
