The Gaza genocide narrative was defined last week by Francesca Albanese, in a final report and review that coincided with the 'ceasefire' in Gaza, and with intensifying attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. Her conclusions were a scathing indictment of all those countries who have stood by and failed to act to stop the atrocities committed by the Zionist state of "Israel" against innocent unarmed and unprotected civilians in Gaza. That some have been actively arming and assisting the occupying entity does not excuse those countries who have merely been 'powerless onlookers' by their own choice; the significant actions by leaders of some other countries, such as Colombia and Ireland, show what could have likely been achieved with international solidarity against this illegitimate and psychopathic state. But such an achievement, and shift in the global 'debate' over israel's legitimacy and Palestinians' right of self-determination in their homelands has been stymied, just as the situation in Gaza reaches its apocalypse. In an astonishing twist and twisting of the global narrative, the headline news has moved to the claimed genocide and humanitarian crisis in Darfur, following a sudden move to seize the city of Al Fasher from government control by the 'Rapid Support Forces'. In unison Western media reported on atrocities being committed by this militia based on reports from refugees and on some satellite photos said to show patches of blood in the streets. Whether credible or not, this claim seemed suspect; for two years we have seen pools of blood in the streets of Gaza, with no need to examine satellite photographs, nor to look for evidence on who were the killers - in Gaza there is only one killer, and only one victim. What is more, on the mere basis of these claims (though not suggesting they are not true, but merely unverified), condemnation and claims of genocide followed within days. Suddenly the RSF was the genocidal terror group, condemned by everyone...but not quite. For two years it has been quite unclear on whose side is the RSF. Both sides have been accused of atrocities, or their achievements in battle lauded by different communities in Sudan, but the world has stayed quiet - until now. At an urgent meeting of the Security Council however, the Sudanese UN representative spoke out forcibly, both against the RSF, calling for its listing as a terrorist group, and against the country who was backing it. While not actually naming the UAE, it was quite clear who Al Harith Mohamed was referring to - as explained by Al Jazeera's Washington correspondent in this short report:
It only remained to make a link between what was happening in Sudan and developments in Gaza, and that link proved to be the UAE. Those developments appear to be the permanent sequestration of the part of Gaza beyond the 'yellow line', which have been heralded by israel's closest allies as the 'New Gaza' Thanks to an investigation by Sky News, the details of this plan for the 'New Gaza' have been exposed, along with the main collaborator in the scheme - the United Arab Emirates. The leader of Abu Dhabi, Sheik bin Zaid al Nayan, has long been the West's key Arab ally and accepted interlocutor with 'israel', though mostly below the radar of normal Western media. The UAE's conflicting relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood state of Qatar aligns it with opponents of Hamas in Gaza, in the form of four 'gangs', as detailed in the article. One is illustrated below:

The Sky News investigation was picked up by The Cradle, and details of the New Gaza scheme discussed in the first five minutes of this video. It should be noted that these gangs, who are being armed and supported by the UAE in concert with the israeli occupation forces, are the same gangs who have committed a litany of crimes against the civilian population of Gaza. Not only have they been seizing trucks full of food aid in order to sell it at inflated prices in the markets in Gaza, but since the creation of the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation", have been responsible for most of the killings of innocent people trying to get hold of boxes of aid from the GHF distribution points. Over 2000 people were killed in the months of its operation, before the points were rapidly dismantled following the 'ceasefire' on 11th October. Since that time however, the situation for food aid in Gaza, and particularly in Gaza city, has become worse; nearly all the limited number of trucks entering Gaza - and only via the 'Kerem Shalom' crossing from israel - have been commercial trucks carrying supplies from the OWB and Egypt, and destined for markets where few Palestinians can afford to buy them, while at the same time making heaps of money for israelis and middle men. This despicable situation is now set to continue with the New Gaza plan, as it has already been stated by Netanyahu, his ministers and assistants, that all reconstruction assistance and aid will be confined to the area of Gaza still occupied by the IOF, in which these 'anti-Hamas' gangs are operating under israeli command. The essential context of this plan is explained in detail by Sima at the Cradle - a Beirut-based independent news site. I've split the relevant section of the discussion into two parts, which are contiguous.
The Cradle's discussion centres on the UAE's support for these 'anti-Hamas' gangs, and the seamless collaboration between the Arab Emirate state and the Zionists, - something that should come as a bit of a surprise for those in the West, but is no surprise to those who live in the region. Rather it is a source of anger at the perceived betrayal of the Arab World by one of their own. Before examining this aspect of the geo-politics of the MENA countries, it is necessary to detail and expand on the true nature of the United Arab Emirates and the special relationship it has with Western countries as well as with "Israel". Most Australians' perception of the Emirates is based on transiting through Dubai when flying to Europe, while government dealings with the Arab state are mostly concealed from the public, intentionally or otherwise. While the UAE is closely allied with the US, UK and Canada, Australia's relationship with Abu Dhabi is also remarkably close, involving significant defence, political and business partnerships. These have developed over some years, but notably since the war on Iraq; it may be assumed that the Emirates did not support Saddam Hussein's Sunni Baathist party - and assisted the US in their invasion and occupation of Baghdad, at least politically. Subsequently, and of particular significance for Australia, following the change in approach to Baghdad in 2009, the man in charge of the Australian contingent, Major General Mike Hindmarsh, shifted camps to Abu Dhabi. Retiring from the ADF - and notionally no longer working for Australia, Hindmarsh became the commander of the Emirati 'Presidential Guard'. Wikipedia gives some details, including reports and claims that Hindmarsh and his merry band of mercenaries were responsible for killing civilians in Yemen in 2016. Apart from Sophie McNeill's investigation, and Australia's pretence it had no involvement in military actions in Yemen, almost nothing was reported in mainstream media on the UAE's military activities there, or on who supported them. The UAE meanwhile was working to establish bases and influence across the Red Sea from Southern Yemen, taking over the Yemeni island of Socotra and infiltrating the poorly governed states of Somaliland and Puntland - which it then used as transit points for transport planes, military equipment and mercenaries. Those activities have just been beautifully detailed by Soumaia Ghannoushi at Middle East Eye, following the sudden escalation of military activity by the 'Rapid Support Forces' in Sudan. Quite significantly also, the general failure to name the country supporting the RSF has caused Australia's Sudanese Embassy to call in media in order to enlighten them and to record their strong statement on the situation. In this report from SBS, the Sudanese Ambassador observes finally that without support from the UAE, the RSF would simply collapse:
The last word however goes to Soumaia Ghannoushi , making the link between the UAE's Darfur genocide and their plans for post-genocide Gaza. Most importantly she details the flow of weapons from UAE allies, which include Australia, through to these gangs of mercenaries, and paid for in Sudanese gold:
